Fines: Depending on the situation, some fines will stay with TYFA and be added to the scholastic program, others are given to an offended organization or vendor.
Probation: A time period given that the participant cannot be involved in any other disciplinary situation or they will may be removed from the league.
Suspensions: These are given for "WEEKS" not "GAMES." Therefore, if a team is scheduled to play more than one game in a weekend, the individual will miss all the games that weekend. Suspensions carry an automatic 1-year probation effective immediately after the suspension expires. Participant is eligible to return to TYFA after the suspension time is served. Suspensions can be for weeks, a season or the calendar year.
Indefinite Suspension: These are given for discipline of a serious nature and for an undetermined amount of time. These are normally for at least a calendar year and require a person or organization to request reinstatement which will be reviewed by the Senior Board.
Loss of Honors, Loss of Home Game, and Loss of Tenure are all self-explanatory.
Cooperation with TYFA: To uphold the integrity and fairness of TYFA investigations, it is essential that all organizations fully cooperate during inquiries into potential rule violations. Failure to provide requested information, such as the identities of those involved, will be considered a serious offense. Organizations that do not cooperate will face disciplinary actions, including fines, loss of privileges, or disqualification. These measures are in place to ensure compliance and maintain a fair playing field for all participants.
Taunting: TYFA strictly prohibits taunting in any form. This includes any behavior meant to insult, humiliate, or intimidate another team or individual. This rule applies to players, coaches, volunteers and parents alike. Severe consequences will be handed down on offender. This could include suspensions, fines and forfeits.
